Greek Tycoon Restaurant

Fantastic run Greek establishment in Whitby! One of the best (if not the best) Greek places I've had. The Lamb is spectacular. We also enjoyed the calamari app, the quality was extreamly good, you can tell it was not pre packed as at most restuarants these days. I forget the gentlemans name serving us(longer hair), was a real joy and truly made the evening a blast. Will recommend and see you soon!

Restaurant Le Milsa West Island, ...

What came out as a test based on a group rebate promotion became my favorite go to restaurant every month . Everything on their menu is amazing (including the lamb who for me is something I don't usually like) . the Picahna (sirloin) is the best thing since water and air . I would eat this as my last meal ever and would be happy dying . The atmosphere is incredible , the service is really good , the price are very good (especially vs the overprice one you find under different banner) . I would recommend ( and I do all the time) to everyone without fear they would be disapointed . The only persons I would not recommend this to are vegetarian and vegan , but then again I would not recommend any restaurant to them . There's also a very good Brazilian dance live show at night so bring your kids and let them dance (the restaurant is also my wife and kid favorite go to place) .

Every time we come to Milsa we are greeted by the owner Mo with a huge smile! His attention to details is amazing and he always takes care of us. They are not stingy on the meat either we always get filet mignon, roast beef etc.... When we come he even makes sure to put the rib steak on for my husband. I bring all my friends and family and we always leave full and happy. The dancers are a great source of entertainment and my daughter loves it. We will always come back here!!!!!

Every time I come here I'm reminded why I DON'T come here. Over priced, slow service, constant mix ups, never serving people in the order they ordered, in the winters it's freezing, the amptmosphere is depressing, and I saw them dump fresh fries from the fryer into a box used for pop flats to season them.....really? Save yourself the experiance, its worth the extra min drive down to islandview restaurant up to oak island restaurant (the only other restaurants in western shore) I'll never step foot in this place again, and I'll definitely be recommending the other two restaurants to everyone I know over this place.

What a lovely experience. The restaurant is tiny and charming and reservations are a must, probably at least a week in advance. The chef himself greeted us and Simon, the waiter was both attentive, professional, and entertaining. They both love what they do and this was most obvious. Portions are generous -from the escargots to the duck to the creme brulee, the dinner was outstanding. We faced the window, and to see the fog rolling in, and a caleche trot by, was wonderful. If you are in La Malbaie, do not miss this dining experience. Merci beaucoup!

As opposed to the previous commenters, I've visited this place twice and both times, I went to the fifth floor - where the expensive stuff is. The first time, I went for their 10-course meal as a part of the Vegan Food Tour I was a part of under O'ngo Foods. The second time, I took some friends and we ordered the 15-course meal. It's a bit pricey but the food variety and quality was well worth it - it was both eye candy and a treat for your taste buds! Obviously, you wouldn't come in regularly but if you ever have the chance, treat yourself. :)

I visited this restaurant with my partner in June 2012 and I rate is as a fantastic dining experience. We ate quite early (7:30pm) finding the restaurant empty when we arrived. The restaurant is in the old town in a narrow street running parallel with the seafront. The decor is simple with wooden tables and a seaside theme. We choose four starter dishes to share instead of mains and had glasses of the red house wine which was delicious. The dishes were pumpkin soup (spicy and served with a flower), spinach and cheese vegetable croquettes with sauce (a local Canarian dish), a stack with smoked tofu, aubergine and other vegetables (skewered with rosemary), and sautéed cheese in spiky shapes with salad. Every dish was tasty, with a range of textures and flavours and a quality above and beyond the rather bland offerings of other veggie restaurants. Presentation was attractive, each dish looked lovely. The waitress was friendly. When I asked the woman working in the kitchen who created such lovely dishes, it turned out that she was the chef and the recipes were her own. This woman deserves a Michelin star!

Yesterday (8-9-2013) me and my friends ate at this restaurant after a tip we got from a health store in the centre of Puerto de la Cruz. We had a lovely diner and even my tablemates (all non-vegetarian) spoke highly about how satisfying and lovely the whole diner was. I chose the vegan options and enjoyed the lovely flavours and combinations of spices. The staff was so nice and the scenery was really relaxing. I would recommend this restaurant to all vegen, vegetarian and non-vegetariant visitors.

What can I say, this place make you feel at home. From the comfortable ambiance, to the gracious owners, to the world's best roast lamb, our family loves this place. We stick to souvlaki for take out only, and when we dine in we all flock around to order house specialties. The roast rambling and exhoico are two of the best prepared lamb dishes you can try anywhere. The tycoon chicken and Moussaka blow away anywhere else that tries to compete. Fresh local flavours. Try it out!

Disappointing. My husband and I arrived at 11:35 on a Sunday morning expecting to be able to order breakfast when we were told that we couldn't because breakfast menu was over at 11:00am. So, we resided to ordering a BLT and Fries. Pretty safe you would think. Nope! The BLT had flavorless bacon, mushy tomatoes and over toasted bread. It was flavorless to say the least. The fries were greasy and undercooked. The coffee...the only word I can describe it with is disgusting. The topping on the cake however, was when two friends of the staff came in and wouldn't you know it ordered full scale breakfasts of bacon eggs and toast and sausage eggs and toast and hash browns. So, what kind of establishment treats paying customers like that. Disappointing to say the least.
